Life Is A Dance.

When we fail to hear the music, we may ‘twist‘ when we really need to ‘shout‘, or we might ‘hucklebuck’ when we should be doing a ‘locomotion’, or we ‘waltz’, when we should be doing a ‘two-step’.

That’s how most people approach the dance of life. When we get lost on the dance floor like that we lose what little control we think we might have. Instead of dancing, we get danced.

We mistakenly believe that we are the dancer, whilst the truth of the matter is that we are, in fact, the dance. The dancer, the True Dancer, is the same dancer that dances in the wind and in the stars. So long as we believe that we are the dancer, we will remain confused.

The only thing we need to do is to stop.

Just STOP! … And wait…

Wait … and listen … until you hear the music that makes you want to move. When you move to the rhythm of the music that sounds “right” to you for long enough, you may begin to notice that the music, the beat, and the harmony come not from “out there somewhere”, it comes from deep inside your being.

When you dance to that music, you live, move and have your being in a state of “flow”.

This “dance” is another metaphor for the struggles that belie the players of “The Game of Life”.

Here are a couple of questions for you:

1. Do you find that life is difficult, or do you just seem to flow through the days with ease?
2. Do you know someone that seems to have “endless luck” and want to know how they do it?

Feel free to comment. 🙂
And, if you’d like to know how they do it, consider a conversation with me. I invite you.
