PostPieces is a campaign using art as a means to explore mental health. About the Tutor

Peter Heenan is an experienced workshop facilitator, actor and theatre-maker from Belfast.

A recent graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he trained as an actor, he draws on drama exercises and therapeutic art techniques in crafting each workshop to best serve the participants.

Peter founded PostPieces from his own experiences with Depression, and is passionate to spark an open and honest discussion about the far too prevalent issue, and offer what he uses to overcome hardships to those who may be in a similar situation.

Recurring Events:

Friday Night Hangout – Facebook Live Broadcast

Date: Every Friday
Time: 20:00 (8 pm)
Where: Belfast Isolation, Loneliness, Depression Action Network

Friday - GroupEvent Description:

Facebook Live weekly broadcast – Private – for group members living in Belfast, NI only.

This will be a “hangout” video.
That means it will last anything from 5 or 10 minutes to … whatever.
It also means that I can, and will, talk about ALMOST ANYTHING.
So … It’s a relaxed, “chatty”, sometimes disjointed ‘discussion’ type video.

There will, (normally), be at least one theme to

the entire broadcast, but in these videos, I will allow for questions, comments and other ‘disruptions’ to the flow of the ‘conversation’.
In fact, to keep the conversation going, everyone watching is invited to comment and ask questions. 🙂

If you want polished, high-end, high-budget entertainment, then I suggest you go elsewhere. THAT is not what these videos are about.

Some of the things that I might discuss:
* Happiness and/or unhappiness
* The power of Choice
* Social Withdrawal and Depression
* Effects of isolating oneself from society
* How to “isolate” in a healthy way
* The Peace, Joy and Freedom Discussion Series
* The thought/emotion connection
* Emotional Resilience
* A whole lot more

To find the live broadcast, at the appropriate time, go to the Facebook group at:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/BILD.A.Network/
and then scroll down until you see the Live Stream and click/tap the play button.
